Mark your calendars! The application period for many universities starts as early as a year in advance.
- Winter Semester: Applications usually open in May 2024 and close in July 2024.
- Summer Semester: For those looking to start in the summer, the window is generally from November 2023 to January 2024.

- Language Requirements: Ensure you meet the language criteria, whether it’s German or English. This is super important, as knowing prior to sending your application to the university you should be aware of the language. This helps you plan your time to learn German, if you need to.

Studying abroad can be expensive, but Germany offers various scholarships and financial aid options to ease your burden.
