NOUNS vs VERBS

By

Always know the difference between a noun and a verb! Once you begin with German sentences you will realize that you need to change the form of verbs as well as the nouns depending upon the context- So here’s an easy tip:

  • Nouns are always capitalized. All nouns begin with a capital letter irrespective of wherever they are used. For example, der Bus, die Wohnung, das Wasser, die Tür, die Frau.
  • Verbs end with -en. For instance, essen, trinken, spielen, gehen, kommen, lachen.

Extra tip: Sometimes the verb and the noun are the same. E.g. essen & Essen. Do you know which one is the verb?

Muchlove & strength!
