Perfection doesn’t exist!

By

Often we find our own selves in situations of self-doubt, self-loathing, self-cursing and underestimating our own skills in comparison to people around us. No matter how smart, intelligent, good looking and amazing we in real life are, we tend to find out the weakness in ourselves, focus on it and try to prove ourselves that we’re not even close to others who are so Perfect. It is neither wrong nor is it a bad trait to think about our weaknesses because, we can work on ourselves only when we acknowledge that there is something to be worked on. However, what is surely incorrect is trying to create a weakness or doubt when there isn’t actually one. Specifically, when it comes to comparing our own traits or abilities with others around believing that they’re perfect!

No one in this World is perfect. Believe me, I will repeat, NO ONE IS PERFECT.

What is PERFECTION? A destination or a journey? Well, I’d put it in the latter category. It is a journey, a journey to be a better version of you. A journey that will give some real hard times, a journey that won’t be easy, that will have its own twists and sharp turns, a journey where you will probably fall often than you can even imagine but, it is a journey worth taking. Why? Very simple, since it makes you a better person than you were before. What is not even close to perfection is, you comparing with others considering that they’re perfect. Since, it is a journey, no one can be perfect, they could be potentially a bit ahead or may be far ahead of you but, they cannot be the journey, no one can. They’re in this journey too but, it is their journey. Each one of us, has our own journey, a one way road designed specifically for us, all alone, to be a better version of yourself. And that is our destination.

I strongly believe that it doesn’t matter where you were born, where do you come from, all that matters is where you want to go, what you want to do and what you wish to become. We cannot choose the parents we will have, the country where we’ll be born, the childhood and upbringing we will get but, that’s okay. Because there is so much more we can choose: what we want to become, our dreams, the efforts we put, which direction should they be put, how much we want to give in to fulfill our desires, how much we are ready to fight, for how long, for what cause. All these things are all that define us. Each time we have a dream or a desire to fulfill, and find out that we’re missing out on something, we gotta fight to get it. To have it so that we can get closer to what we wished for. That fight, those effort we put in to get that missing trait in us, that is perfection. That is our journey, which we cannot define or have or travel by comparing to our competitors around but, by own self. We’re all like unique puzzles each with billions of pieces, we just got to find our own piece to get closer to the finish line. We can’t use someone else’s piece in ours.

That won’t fit because, it isn’t meant to.

So let us focus on doing that and meanwhile loving, caring and enjoying each and every moment we have!
